I spent a little time this morning re-processing the star-field picture, and the results were interesting. When incorporating flats, darks, and offset frames in Siril, there's a pattern of liminosity in the image, with a dark looking arc center-right-top, and patchy light/dark throughout. The patchiness is especially prominent in the area which isn't vignetted by the lens, so I'm left wondering if this is the result of variable star density or a vignetting artifact. It could also just be atmospheric haze for denser star regions.
Given how well the previously obvious vignetting was eliminated (allowing this wider shot), I'm leaning towards either atmosphere or star density.
