Blog Necromancy (and Orion)

 

First light on a new mount. This was taken using a Pentax K1-ii and a Sigma DG 120-400 f4.5 Apo lens at 400mm, and features the Orion Nebula. The mount is an Orion Atlas Pro AZ/EQ-G, also known as the Sky-Watcher AZ/EQ 6 Pro. Polar alignment was made using the built-in polar scope, but no further star alignment was performed. Exposure was 30 seconds unguided, 3200iso.
